Understanding the MEDICAID Program and How It Works
MEDICAID is a program financed and run jointly by the federal government and administered by each state to help pay for the medical costs of financially needy people of all ages. Financial need is determined by the program of the state in which the applicant resides. Medicaid can also supplement Medicare*, helping to pay for some of the medical costs that are not covered by Medicare.
Problem is—most of the time people cannot manage the Medicare/Medicaid processes on their own and that’s where HSS can come in to help. Please call us for details on what steps we can take to assist you: 410-558-0022.
